Tortelli di patate del Mugello
While most have heard of the Medici, few people have heard of their place of origin – the Mugello region in northern Tuscany. While the area abounds in natural beauty, my favorite thing about the Mugello is its “Tortelli di patate.” Fresh pasta filled with potato and cheese and served with either ragù meat sauce or butter and sage. Enjoy with a nice full-bodied red wine. Buon appetito!
