Literally translated as “Rosemary Bread,” this typically Tuscan dish originated in the Middle Ages and was originally only prepared on Holy Thursday. It is a semi-sweet soft bun made with rosemary, raisins and EVOO and marked with a cross. Today Pan di Ramerino can be found year-round in almost every Tuscan bakery. Buon appetito!
