Fegato alla Veneziana ("Liver in the Venetian style")
Although a typical Venetian dish, Fegato alla Veneziana is prepared throughout Italy. It consists of thinly sliced calf liver cooked with caramelized onions and vinegar, and usually served over or with polenta. Buon appetito!
