POP-UP WEBINAR | “Caravaggio in Charlotte”

Join Dr. Rocky for an exclusive online virtual lecture dedicated to the breathtaking collection of masterpieces in the current “Caravaggio | Revolution: Baroque Masterpieces from the Roberto Longhi Foundation” exhibition at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC.  In addition to two of Caravaggio’s earliest masterpieces – “Boy Bitten by a Lizard” and “Boy Peeling Fruit,” the exhibition also explores Caravaggio’s strong influence on other masters such as Giuseppe Ribera, Valentin de Boulogne, and Mattias Stom as demonstrated by its nearly 40 other paintings. All of the paintings are on loan from the Roberto Longhi Foundation in Florence, Italy.

The event will include a 45-minute lecture followed by 15-minutes of Q&A.
