San Casciano dei Bagni

Recognized as one of “Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages” (“I Borghi Più Belli d’Italia”), the Tuscan town of San Casciano dei Bagni is located in the province of Siena. It is home to 42 natural thermal springs averaging water temperatures of 108°F (42°C) and has been home to thermal baths since ancient Etruscan and Roman times. San Casciano dei Bagni has received much media attention of late for a spectacular archeological find which so far has recovered more than 20 ancient bronze statues from the 2nd century BCE from the thermal mud. Buona visita!
