Church of Santa Felicita Florence

Located on the south side of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy, the church of Santa Felicita is the second oldest in the city. The first church was built in the 4th century CE, and then rebuilt twice in the 11th and 18thcenturies. While its most celebrated external feature is the Vasari Corridor which is above the entrance portico, the interior of the church contains the Capponi Chapel with its beautiful paintings by Jacopo Pontormo – including the “Capponi Altarpiece.” Buona visita!
