LECTURE TOUR OF THE ITALIAN ART AT THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART

Join Rocky for an in-depth analysis of the great Italian Renaissance art treasures in the National Gallery collection. We shall examine works dating from the 14th through the 16th centuries by masters such as Duccio, Gentile da Fabriano, Andrea del Castagno, Botticelli, Perugino, Raphael, and Titian.

Particular emphasis will be given to the only painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the United States – his 15th-century Portrait of Ginevra de’Benci.
