LECTURE TOUR OF THE MET 5TH AVENUE – NYC

Join Rocky for an in-depth analysis of the great Italian Renaissance art treasures in the Metropolitan Museum of Art Fifth Avenue in New York City. We shall examine works dating from the 14th through the 17th centuries by masters such as Duccio, Giotto, Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Fra Lippo Lippi, Tintoretto and Caravaggio.

Particular emphasis will be given to Caravaggio’s “Musicians“and Duccio’s “Madonna and Child” – two rare examples of works by these artists in the United States.
