After sold-out lectures at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, the MFA in Boston and the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth TX, join Dr. Rocky Ruggiero for an in-depth analysis of the great Italian Renaissance art treasures in the Cleveland Art Museum collection.
We shall examine works dating from the 14th through the 17th centuries by masters such as Botticelli, Filippino Lippi, Andrea del Sarto and El Greco.
Particular emphasis will be given to one of the few paintings by Caravaggio in the United States – his 17th-century Crucifixion.
