The Pinacoteca (“painting gallery”) Ambrosiana is in the historic library in Milan, Italy, known as the Biblioteca Ambrosiana. It houses an amazing collection of Italian Renaissance art, including Leonardo da Vinci’s controversial “Musician,” Caravaggio’s “Basket of Fruit,” Raphael’s full-scale cartoon for the “School of Athens,” and Leonardo’s “Codex Atlaticus.” Buona visita!
