"View of Florence from the South West" by Rosselli

Although less famous than the celebrated “Chain Map” of Florence, this late 15th-century oil painting of Florence from a southwestern perspective is an extremely accurate historical record of the city’s urban reality. It is attributed to Francesco Rosselli and is part of the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Buona visione!
