After demonstrating incontrovertible evidence of the presence of both paint and binding material behind Vasari’s wall in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy in his last presentation, Maurizio Seracini, is back to discuss where we go from here in the search for Leonardo da Vinci’s lost Battle of Anghiari painting. While he showed us never-seen-before endoscopy pictures and chemical analyses last time, in his upcoming exclusive webinar, Maurizio will introduce us to new technologies and non-invasive solutions, many of which have never been used before to study art, which may prove invaluable in finding Leonardo’s lost mural. This will include the effort to create a false color image of what may lay on the original wall of the Sala Grande, hidden behind Vasari’s later remodeling, and what might just be Leonardo’s greatest painting.
