My favorite meal of the year is Christmas Eve dinner. Although most people talk about the “Feast of the Seven Fishes,” at my house it’s more like seventeen fishes! And Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without mixed fried fish!
Lightly flour your shrimp, squid, anchovies, sardines, small mullets, and scallops in semolina flour and then fry till golden brown in sunflower oil. Add sea salt and lemon juice to taste. Buon appetito and Buon Natale!
