A staple of Sicilian cuisine, cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped pastry shells filled with sheep’s milk ricotta cheese mixed with sugar and semi-sweet chocolate chips. The ends can be topped with pistachios, candied fruit, or more chocolate chips. My absolute favorite dessert! Buon appetito!
