Cacciotta Toscana Cheese

Cacciotta cheese is a relatively new kind of cheese developed by cheesemakers to offer a more delicate and less sharp alternative to traditional Pecorino cheese. In fact, the aging period for Cacciotta is much shorter than Pecorino, and it can be fresh or semi-aged. While there are variations of Cacciotta cheese all over Italy, Tuscan Cacciotta is the best-known variety. Buon appetito!
