Busiate with Pesto Trapanese (“Trapani style pesto”) is a traditional pasta dish from the Trapani area of Sicily. It consists of “Busiate” pasta, which takes its name from the tool with which it’s prepared (“il buso”) and a red pesto sauce made with tomatoes, almonds, garlic, basil and oil.  Buon appetito!
