Lecture Tour of Leonardo da Vinci’s Saint Jerome exhibit at The MET 5th Avenue – NYC by Rocky Ruggiero, PhD
“Leonardo Comes to the Big Apple!”
In honor of the 5th centennial of the great artist’s death (May 2, 1519), one of the very few paintings in the world by Leonardo Da Vinci will be exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His unfinished “St. Jerome in the Wilderness” will be in New York from July 15 until Oct. 6, 2019.
Join me for the extraordinary opportunity to view and discuss a Leonardo painting on US soil during my lecture tour at the Met about this great painting on August 22, 2019. We shall also examine the other great Italian Renaissance works that are part of the permanent collection.
