Vinci

Located about 25 mi/40 km west of Florence, the small Tuscan town of Vinci is best known as the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. Not surprisingly its two best known sites are the “Museo Leonardiano” (Museum of Leonardo da Vinci) and the “Casa Natale di Leonardo” (“Birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci”). Vinci is surrounded by some of Tuscany’s most beautiful countryside, which is full of olive groves and vineyards. Buona visita!
