Located in the central Italian region of Umbria, in 1989, Todi was voted “the most livable city in the world” due to its quality of life and balance between city and countryside. Founded in ancient Roman times, much of the city today is characterized by medieval monuments such as the cathedral and the Palazzo del Popolo. But Todi is also home to one of the most important churches of Florence, named “Santa Maria della Conciliazione.” It is one of the very few centralized churches ever built and is believed by some to have been designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Buona visita!
