The Pinacoteca of Siena

Inaugurated in 1932, the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Siena (“National Painting Gallery of Siena”) is in the Brigidi and Buonsignori Palaces in the historical center of Siena, Italy. The museum houses one of the world’s largest collections of medieval and Renaissance Sienese paintings, including masterpieces by Duccio, Simone Martini, Ambrogio Lorenzetti and Sodoma.
