Sforza Castle, Milan

The Sforza Castle in Milan Italy, was the fortified home of the city’s ruling family – the Sforza. Originally constructed in the 14th century, it was rebuilt in the 15th century and then enlarged and renovated in the following centuries. Today it houses several museums and is home to Michelangelo’s last sculpture, his “Rondanini Pietà,” and Leonardo da Vinci’s severely damaged “Sala delle Asse.” Buona visita!
