Piazza Navona, Rome

Once an ancient Roman stadium, the Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy, was reborn in the 17th century and filled with amazing sculptures such as Bernini’s “Fountain of the Four Rivers” and beautiful architecture such as Borromini’s church of St. Agnese in Agone. Arguably Rome’s most famous piazza, today this square is home to numerous cafes, restaurants, street artists, and a charming outdoor Christmas market.
