The beautiful town of Otranto is located in the province of Lecce in the Italian region of Apulia. It is situated on the eastern coast of the Salento peninsula on the Strait of Otranto, where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet. Home to some 6,000 people, the small, fortified town is characterized by charming streets, breathtaking sea views, and a plethora of shops and traditional restaurants. It is one of my favorite places in Apulia. Buona visita!
