Located at the entrance of the modern town of Siracusa in Sicily, the Neapolis archeological park contains an array of archeological wonders. It is home to a 5th-century Greek theater, a 2nd-century Roman amphitheater, ancient stone quarries, and the famous “Ear of Dionysius” – a deep cavern with spectacular acoustics named by Caravaggio after the ancient tyrant of Siracusa. Buona visita!
