Located inside of the historic Ducal Palace in Urbino, the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche houses one of Italy’s most important artistic collections. It includes Piero della Francesca’s “Flagellation” and “Madonna of Senigallia,” the “Ideal City Panel,” Justus van Ghent’s “Communion of the Apostles,” and the extraordinary “Studiolo” which is the world’s most important example of “intarsia,” or inlaid wood. Buona visita!
