Casa Buonarroti

Perhaps the most underrated museum in Florence, Italy, the Casa Buonarroti was a property once owned by the great Michelangelo Buonarroti and later transformed into a museum intended to celebrate the great artist’s legacy. The extraordinary collection at the Casa Buonarroti includes Michelangelo’s two earliest known sculptures, his majestic wooden model for the façade of San Lorenzo, and one of the world’s most important collections of Michelangelo drawings. Buona visita!
