Basilica of San Lorenzo (Florence)
The Basilica of San Lorenzo in Florence, Italy, which was designed by the great Filippo Brunelleschi, is the first ever Renaissance-style church. From his use of modular systems, classical architectural vocabulary, to harmony and proportion, Brunelleschi made the old new again when he designed the church that ushered in the Renaissance of architecture. San Lorenzo is also home to the tombs of nearly all the Medici. Buona visita!
