The Cathedral of Cefalù was built between 1131 and 1240 in the Norman architectural style. Its fortress-like appearance and position dominate the surrounding medieval town. And while most of the interior is relatively plain, the apse contains a stunning Byzantine-style medieval mosaic whose main subject is a Christ Pantokrator. Buona visita!
