Peggy Guggenheim Collection

The tour will start by having an assistant pick you up in the lobby of the hotel and walking you through the lovely residential area of San Marco and over the Academia bridge to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. The assistant will introduce you to your Private Expert Guide and you will enter without waiting.

Your Private Expert Guide will take you through the museum for 1 hour and half visit focusing on Peggy’s fascinating life and on the highlights of her collection. The museum is known worldwide not only because it houses some of the best art of the 20th century from Picasso, Ernst, Magritte, and Pollock but also because it was Peggy’s home also known as, Palazzo Vernier die Leoni, with wonderful views of the Grand Canal and a relaxing sculpture garden.

After the guided tour you may remain in the museum to visit also the temporary exhibition or if you wish go out on your own and visit the great neighborhood area.
