Having just completed an online course entitled “The Genius of Leonardo da Vinci”, I thought it was only fitting to showcase one of our suggested reading sources. A fascinating history of the historiography of Leonardo da Vinci, Turner traces the evolution of the da Vinci phenomenon from the Renaissance until the present day. An eye-opening exploration of how the last five centuries have written about, perceived, and “invented” the myth of one of the most singular human beings in history.
