LIVE STREAM EVENT | “Live Via Crucis” from Grassina, Italy

Join us for this extraordinary LIVE STREAM event from the hills around Florence, Italy – in REAL TIME – as the residents of Grassina reenact the Stations of the Cross in full period costume.* This theatrical tradition of representing Christ carrying his cross to his crucifixion (Via Crucis in Latin) on Good Friday dates to the 17th century. Dozens of people dress as soldiers, saints, sinners, and ordinary townsfolk while retracing the “stations”, or major moments, of Christ’s Passion. WATCH HISTORY TRULY COME TO LIFE!

The live stream event will include a 45-minute performance followed by 15-minutes of Q&A.
