Lecture Tour of the Italian Art at The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC by Rocky Ruggiero, Ph.D.
Join Dr. Rocky Ruggiero for an in-person and in-depth analysis of the great Italian Renaissance art treasures in the National Gallery of Art collection in Washington, DC. Dr. Rocky will examine works dating from the 14th through the 16th centuries by masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Raphael, Titian, Duccio, Perugino, Gentile da Fabriano and Andrea del Castagno.
Particular emphasis will be given to the only painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the US – the Portrait of Ginevra de’Benci.
