From Donatello’s “Judith and Holofernes,” Michelangelo’s “David,” Cellini’s “Perseus,” Giambologna’s “Abduction of the Sabine,” – to name just a few – each sculpture in this free outdoor gallery represents a chapter in the extraordinary history of the great Renaissance city.
