Presented by Dr. Rocky Ruggiero
If you were not able to join Join Dr. Rocky his in-person lecture tour of the extraordinary exhibition “Vittore Carpaccio: Master Storyteller of Renaissance Venice,” this is your chance to prepare yourselves to see the exhibition on your own before it closes on Feb. 12, 2023. One of the principal painters of the Venetian Renaissance, Carpaccio was best known for his imaginative and colorful large-scale narrative paintings. With some 45 paintings and 30 drawings, this is the first retrospective of the artist outside of Italy and the second-ever monograph exhibition on Carpaccio. And many of the paintings are being reunited for the first time in 500 years!
The event will include a 45-minute lecture followed by 15-minutes of Q&A.
