Join Dr. Rocky in celebrating the NGA’s recent spectacular acquisition – Artemisia Gentileschi’s “Mary Magdalene in Ecstasy” – with this in-person lecture tour. In addition to Gentileschi’s powerful painting, Dr. Rocky will also discuss the NGA’s extraordinary permanent collection of Italian Renaissance masterpieces, including works by Duccio, Botticelli, Bellini, Titian, and the only Leonardo da Vinci painting in the western hemisphere – the “Ginevra de’ Benci.”
