“A Tale of Two Early Renaissance Cities: Florence and Rome” by Rocky Ruggiero, Ph.D.

While Florence is celebrated as “the cradle of the Renaissance” in the later 15th century, Rome was still largely a medieval backwater town. Join Dr. Rocky Ruggiero for this in-person lecture where he will explore the art and history of these two Renaissance cities at the end of the 15th century and explain how each played a role in shaping the modern world.
