In addition to being one of the world’s largest and most beautiful churches, Florence Cathedral was also home to some of the most important sculptures of the Italian Renaissance, including Donatello’s “Penitent Mary Magdalene,” and Michelangelo’s “David.” Dr. Rocky will examine the most important works of sculpture that were intended to adorn the great cathedral.
The webinar will include a 45-minute lecture followed by 15-minutes of Q&A.
