In 1508, Pope Julius II hired a 25-year-old painter named Raphael to fresco the walls of his personal apartments in the Vatican. The result was one of the most extraordinary collections of paintings in history – including the super famous “School of Athens!” Join Dr. Rocky for this free webinar where he will examine Raphael’s celebrated frescoes in the former apartments of Pope Julius II, which are better known as the “Stanze.”
The webinar will include a 45-minute lecture followed by 15-minutes of Q&A.
