Caravaggio in Charlotte, North Carolina – In Person Lecture Tour with Dr. Rocky Ruggiero

Join Dr. Rocky at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC, for this extraordinary opportunity to see one of Caravaggio’s great masterpieces – “The Boy Bitten by a Lizard!” The painting is on loan from the Roberto Longhi Foundation in Florence, Italy, and part of the exhibition “Caravaggio | Revolution: Baroque Masterpieces from the Roberto Longhi Foundation.” Caravaggio’s strong influence on other masters such as Giuseppe Ribera, Valentin de Boulogne, and Mattias Stom is demonstrated in the nearly 40 other paintings in the exhibition.
