Join Dr. Rocky for this in-person event where he will lead you through the extraordinary collection of Italian Renaissance portraits at the NGA. Stare into the eyes of Lorenzo and Giuliano de’ Medici with their amazingly life-like terracotta busts by Verrocchio and his school. Look into the souls of Renaissance patrons through their portraits that were produced by artists such as Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, Titian, Antonella da Messina, and Mantegna. Delight in the innocent eyes of the marble busts of young boys by Desiderio da Settignano. Then, admire the crown jewel of North American museums – The Portrait of Ginevra de’ Benci by Leonardo da Vinci.
